Samantha Fox : Touch Me
Samantha Karen Fox (née le 15 avril 1966 à Mile End, Londres, Angleterre) est une chanteuse anglaise qui a connu son heure de gloire dans les années 1980. Elle mesure 1 m 55. Il ne faut pas la confondre avec diverses actrices X qui portaient le même nom dans les années 1970-1980.
Issue d'une modeste famille londonienne, Sam termine seconde d'une compétition de photographie seins nus. Elle décroche ainsi à l'âge de 16 ans (1983) un contrat pour poser en qualité de pin-up pour le tabloïd The Sun. Elle y incarnera pendant trois ans la three-page girl, véritable « institution » outre-Manche. À cette époque, Sam Fox est considérée comme la deuxième femme la plus photographiée d'Angleterre, après Lady Di.
En 1986, elle débute une prometteuse carrière de chanteuse pop avec le single Touch Me classé n°1 dans 17 pays (n°3 au top 50 français) et un premier album qui se vend très bien dans le monde entier. Les albums se suivenet au cours des 20 années suivantes, mais le succès des débuts fera place à des disques beaucoup plus confidentiels tant au niveau des textes que des ventes.
En août 2004, elle est apparue dans une vidéo du musicien Günther dans un remix de Touch Me.
Son dernier album, Angel with an Attitude est sorti en novembre 2005 au Canada. Joe Barrucco y a coopéré.
